Our Client is based in the City of London and is directly authorised by the FCA. Established in 1998, this SME firm specialises in providing advice to both private and corporate clients for all their financial planning requirements, especially pensions, tax and investments.

With more than GBP 100M in funds under advice, they are keen to continue to meet the needs of their existing clients whilst growing the business. They are now seeking an ambitious and motivated Junior Financial Adviser to join their team. This entry level position is ideal for individuals who are newly qualified or nearing the completion of their financial planning qualifications and looking to enter the industry as an adviser. The role is employed and will be based in London. This is a rare opportunity to join a company with an excellent reputation, based on its retention of clients and new business developed through referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support senior financial advisers in preparing for client meetings and managing client relationships. 
  • Assist with research and analysis of financial products and services. 
  • Help in the preparation of financial reports and client documentation. 
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to meet and achieve CAS status, if needed. 

Candidate Profile:

  • At or nearing completion of FCA recognised IFA qualification. 
  • Up to one year experience in an IFA firm as an administrator or paraplanner preferred but not required. 
  • Strong desire to learn and develop within the financial services industry. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial planning software.
