The Company
Our Client is
headquartered in Malaysia and provides independent personal and corporate financial
planning solutions to clients internationally. Their experienced and qualified
wealth management team provides advice on all aspects of financial planning
including investments, insurance, wills, savings and estate planning. Our Client has licenses and product provider agreements in place to offer qualified and transparent advice to their clients.
Our Client already has a presence
in several countries; they are now expanding the business further and are looking
to agree Practice Buy Outs (PBOs) with experienced financial advisers who wish
to sell their client book or wealth management firms who are seeking an exit
strategy. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals or companies who want to
realise a monetary value for their business. Opportunities also exist for
financial advisers who intend to continue to manage and grow their client base
with a view to agreeing an exit strategy in the next few years. Our Client can
offer commission levels of up to 80% to advisers.
Our Client:
- Is authorised and regulated in Malaysia by the Labuan
Financial Services Authority (FSA)
- Has access to Maltese and Mauritian licenses
- Provides compliance and administrative support to
advisers
- Has its own MPS
- Holds meetings with Clients either face to face or
virtually as many clients are based internationally
- Follows a four step approach from the
initial meeting to provision of an ongoing service according to the risk
profile and objectives of each client
- Can provide lead generation support if
required (leads paid for out of commission)
Locations: Our Client is planning to agree PBOs in various
countries, including but not limited to:
- Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam,
Philippines and Cambodia)
- Africa (South Africa, Mauritius, Kenya
and Namibia)
- Europe (Spain, France, Portugal,
Malta and Cyprus)
- Middle East (Bahrain, UAE, Qatar
and Oman)
Candidate
Profile: Financial Advisers or Wealth management firms:
- Established in the offshore
market, preferably with at least 3+ years' track record
- Existing FUM of USD $5M+ for
advisers
- Existing FUM of USD $10M+ for
firms
- Must deal primarily with pensions
and lump sum investments (not regular premiums)
PBO general structure:
- Valuation based on multiples of
annual recurring income
- Guaranteed payments in stages, to
be agreed with our Client
- Clients to be managed through a
coordinated transition to our Client
